[synopsis] => An empowering celebration of learning how to share and a new addition to the bestselling series!

I kept snacks to myself.

Now I give some away.

Once I hogged the whole swing.

Now I let others play.

This fifth book in the Empowerment series celebrates learning how to share. With relevant and charming specifics, Stephen Krensky and Sara Gillingham address the joy we feel from giving back. Young children and their parents will revel in the encouraging text and retro-fresh illustrations.

Stephen Krensky started writing stories for children while in college and has been happily doing it ever since. He has now written more than 130 fiction and nonfiction children's books, including novels, picture books, easy readers, and biographies. Among his favorites are the four earlier books in the Empowerment series——Now I Am Big, I Can Do It Myself, I Know a Lot, and I Am So Brave. Stephen and his wife, Joan, raised two sons in Lexington, Massachusetts, where they are still living happily ever after. They definitely like to share whenever possible, particularly with their children and grandchildren. Sara Gillingham is an award-winning children's book author and illustrator, art director, and designer who has helped publish many bestselling books. Sara has written and illustrated more than 25 titles for children, including How to Grow a Friend, Snuggle the Baby, and the Empowerment series. She lives in Vancouver with her family.; Sara Gillingham is an award-winning art director, designer, and artist who has published more than 15 books for young children. She lives with her family in British Columbia.
