Description
Intrigued by a fragment of the anicent fairytale, "The doomed prince," and hoping to put a little romance back in their marriage, Amelia Peabody, the eminent Egyptologist, and her dashing husband Emerson head for Egypt. However, instead of rejuvenation, they discover a deadly plot when that are forced to confront their deadliest enemy. And so cunning is his scheme that Amelia might overlook-until it is too late-the truth about the mysterious cat called Anubis, the identity of the spy among their retinue, and the nature of the stunning blow that could rob her of all she holds dear.
